We booked a tour with Mickledore to walk Hadrian's Wall this September. They were professional in every way, despite our late booking. The accommodations they work with are tops and our trip was very well organized from every aspect including packet arriving in timely fashion pre-trip, directions to beginning B&B down to details of getting to each night lodging and great restaurant recommendations. Very personalized to our special diet needs and responsive to quick questions online.

We recently completed our second Coast to Coast adventure utilizing Mickledore to make all the arrangements for luggage transport, lodging and pack lunches for our entire holiday. Every detail of our 17 days trekking across England was meticulously arranged for through Mickledore. We found the B&B’s to be convenient, first-class establishments, hosted by friendly, caring owners who catered to our every need. We will certainly be returning to complete other hikes in England and will most assuredly be working with Mickledore to make sure our holiday is as successful as this one was.

Brilliantly organised self guided walking holiday along Hadrian's Wall. Took our time to enjoy the history and visit various English Heritage sites along the route. Mickledore had provided good distances that allowed us to speed up through the less interesting start and end of the walk. Accommodation was superb and all arrangements made by Mickledore went as planned allowing us to enjoy a really relaxing and stress free time. Will look to use Mickledore again for sure.

Mickledore are well organised and responsive, and they supply good quality guides and maps of the trail before the holiday.
The accommodation was all of a very high standard, in terms of the rooms, facilities, food provided and the hosts. I also had the impression I was allocated the superior room purely because I was a Mickledore customer, even though I was a solo traveler.
Overall I was very pleased.

We completed the West Highland Way in September 2017. Mickledore made the planning very easy. All of our hotels and luggage transportation was organized for us. All we had to think about was the walking! When we had questions, Mickledore was very quick to respond. Great service. I would not hesitate to recommend Mickledore to friends and family.
