The Financial Aid office is a joke, they all hate their job and you can tell. They made me dread everything about the school so I decided to go to LIT and it is SO MUCH BETTER. AND CHEAPER.

The staff in the financial office are very lacksey dasey. They really don't like picking up the phone on that third floor. I went up there to turn in some paper work and I heard a lady from the admissions office saying "who wants to talk to this lady that calling on the phone". Basically saying that they don't wanna talk and that's your job to answer questions in that area. It takes so long for financial to process, and it's due to the people in the office. If you don't go up there yourself, you'll get the round-around. However, I love the atmosphere of the college and the classes.

I attend Lamar State College - Port Arthur, I am really enjoying my experience. I find the financial aid office to be very helpful and thorough, so please be patient! I look forward to the years to come with my awesome professors, all so professional. Keep up the great work!!!
