Drifter Jack's was a great place to stay while I was in Austin. It was centrally and conveniently located to all the attractions and close to all the major bus routes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and would stay there again.

I had a wonderful time staying here, all of the staff are friendly and happy to help, they have everything you need for your stay there and if they don't they are close enough to shops to nip out and grab it. A wonderful atmosphere and it's in a great area.

Went on an organised bar crawl while there, had an ace time.

2 thumbs up would stay there again!

They don't have rules about tidyness, and I was bitten by a bug of some sort while sitting on the couch in the common area, but aside from that its a nice place with pleasant staff.

This was my first of many stays in hostels! Do loved everything from community Staples such as tea to respect of others demonstrated by staff and guests. Superb!

Couldn't have asked for a better hostel experience! The location is perfect, walking distance to food, cool shopping (Buffalo Exchange, a sweet record shop, and some awesome vintage shops are just a short walk down the road), the staff is friendly and super helpful, the place is clean and I felt safe the entire time I was there. I definitely found a new home away from home in Austin, and recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay!
