Ett väldigt fint uteställe som inte riktigt slagit i Örebro av någon anledning. Jag tror att Makeriet haft lite svårt att få fram vad tanken med stället är. En del är en restaurang där jag ätit för några år sedan och tyckte då att det var lite rörigt. Själva lounge-delen är däremot bra när det är folk där. Ibland är det dansgolv och ibland inte som jag förstått det. Så trots att jag varit där flera gånger har jag inte riktigt fattat vad stället är :-). Men fint är det!

It is a lively place with good food however it lacks ambient.

The hostess Marleen wasn't very convinced to give me a table, maybe because I had darker skin. I asked her if they accepted American Express and she hesitated and said no, then I asked her if they accepted visa and she said yes. She was still not convinced to give me a table and then she was looking and looking at the computer screen and told me that they were very busy ( it was 6 o'clock and the restaurant was empty). Then she offer me this little table and I accepted it. I ordered the ribeye which was the most expensive piece of meet they serve and it was a little bit chewy. My table was facing the entrance and Marleen was giving everybody a table in a very fast way with no hesitation. I doubt all these people had a reservation. It just didn't feel right. Then I asked my waitress Hellen, and she said that they DO accept American Express and that just confirmed the bad feeling I had from the beginning. Very disappointing.
