Excellent hotel with great bars and a remarkably good Japanese restaurant on the top floor. The tepanyaki grill is where the food is cooked in front of you, and is a fun night out, but space at the tepanyaki is limited, so book in advance at the weekend. Prices are very reasonable, and there is ample private parking. Check out the pool side buffets on various nights, being a Sri Lankan hotel, the curries are not the usual Indian style, but very flavoursome and different. Interesting tea room just off the lobby for day time business meetings. Sports bar lively and noisy, upstairs bar on the roof if you want a quiet beer.

Had a wonderful stay at Al Falaj. Pleasent environment and staff. Delicious food. Reasonable prices.Definiteley visit again...
