Two stars due to the fact that is an anonymous club and all that goes with.
I you are not an Erasmus student or below 22 years of age don't visit.

Big club, good to host a party but not always that crowded.

Kokomo is a great place if you want to organise large parties. I however think that it can get tiring. But definitely a place to try out atleast once

The most 'traditional' club in Groningen with an entrance fee sometimes and guest D-Js. Can be booked by associations such as ESN for special themed parties etc. Usually fun dance music on several nights during the week - but beware, Kokomo is not open every night! The way you can tell whether it's open is by looking up into the sky of an evening (past about 11pm) and if they are open, there will be a swirling white spotlight in the sky!

Do not go to this club! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere that has some respect for its clientele.

My friends and I had an awful experience at Kokomo. First we were forced to put our coats in the cloakroom (which they charge for, as well as entry fee). Ok, we agree, but then a security guy forces my friend check in her light jacket as well even though she was cold, and was very rude to her and aggressively dragged her by her bag. So that was upsetting, but it only got worse. The DJ was incredibly rude - I requested a song, and he started taking photos of me with his phone, without my permission, holding a banana in my face (I assume to mock me?). These people have NO respect for their clientele. Never going back.
